She feels the student is not obligated to her; and that the student’s commitment is to themselves, their own happiness and to their own personal freedom. Pamela’s role as a Spiritual Teacher and her commitment to the student is to outline the steps to be taken, and to teach actual and proven methods that effectively enable further advancement of the spiritual path. The term of the apprenticeship is often a period of transformation in the apprentice’s life. During the apprenticeship, Pamela also acts as a support base for her student to confide in, and look to for guidance and love.
